AASMAAN: Food for Thought 4.0 - Where Hunger Meets Kindness!
Between the red and the green light, have you ever noticed the slum kids racing from one car to another, trying to sell different article and wondered if these kids have ever been to school or held a pencil to write? We all have felt the urge to help these less fortunate kids but have always struggled to find a medium to help and contribute to their development.
Well, to help you in helping them, AASMAAN brings you FOOD FOR THOUGHT 4.0. from 29th January to 7th February 2016 at I.I.M Road.
Run by the youth of our city and volunteered by students of colleges like NIFT, LJ, GIT ,PDPU, CEPT, and many more, this foundation has taken the initiative to educate more than 35 slum kids by raising funds for their education fees and providing them a better life style. To be a part of it and contribute to this noble cause, all you have to do is visit their stall and enjoy the delicious home cooked food made and served by the volunteers themselves.
To savour your taste buds, the stalls are serving an array of toothsome dishes like a chatpati CHAAT, tempting PASTA, crunchy NACHOS, mouth watering SANDWICHES, refreshing BEVERAGES and many more. Not to forget the daily specials and the live counters.
ALL THE PROFIT raised by this event shall be donated towards different upliftment and education programs for betterment of these underprivileged kids.
You can also enjoy live music and band performances by the volunteers while you indulge into these mouth watering delicacies.
There’s more, the event will also be covered and promoted by celeb RJs like RJ Vashisth and many more.
