Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's Museum

This summer take your children & young ones to a journey of Old Ahmedabad – the legacy of Ahmedabad which is now getting extinct. Let’s all of us contribute and ensure our past (& the beauty of it) is not forgotten.

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Museum is one great place to go with your children, family and friends to know real Ahmedabad.

The kite museum is an encyclopedia on kites by Bhanubhai Shah. 100 beautiful kites from all over the country are displayed here with well researched documentation. For example, do you know the first kite was flown in the year 1270? And this is just 1% of the information. There is lot more in store for you.

What more? From old land documents, paintings, photographs to old gates, telephone, cameras, machines to sculptures, puppets, locks, traditional attires … the museum has more things to experience than to write about.

So people, spare good time & see our great Ahmedabad at the Museum.
