Have you got a chance to travel to China and see the great wall? No? You all know that The Great Wall of China is the longest continuous wall in the world. But wait, India also has something interesting that very few people know about.

If China wall is the first longest then wall of the fort KumbhalGarh is the second longest continuous one. Also, this is the birthplace of Maharan Pratap. A priest is still employed by the present Maharana to take care for the shrines of his ancestors. Did you know about this fact?

The architecture of this place is something to talk about. This beautiful fort was built in 15th century by Rana Kumbha. Built on a hilltop 1100 meters above sea level, the fort of KumbhalGarh has perimeter walls that extend 36 kilometers. There are over 360 temples within the fort, 300 ancient Jain and the rest Hindu. This is just little information that we are talking about. This place is immensely beautiful that you will be lost in the history once you visit there. It is surprising that architects in that era were so amazing about forts and palace designing.

And nothing can go better than this weather. Monsoon is the best weather to enjoy traveling. Feel like in the clouds and roam in the fort of KumbhalGarh. It’s quite possible that you won’t be able to see things just 10 steps away from you. But that feel will make you super happy and you won’t want to get out of KumbhalGarh. Generally from top you can see tens of kilometers, Aravalli range and sand dunes of Thar dessert but in this season just enjoy the clouds and fog wrapped around you.

If the day look is so beautiful then how night view can be just ok. The fort is lit for a few minutes each evening and you can see this beautiful fort turning into a golden color. That view should not be missed whenever you are visiting KumbhalGarh.
