Right here at the 50 year old La Bella restaurant :) … the ‘cult’ place for NID, CEPT and IIM students who are regular at this place.
We bet that visiting La Bella is surely going to tempt all those who love gorging on non vegetarian goan delicacies. And when we are talking about Goa, this place is just so Goan!
La Bella - A small shack-like sitting arrangement and the ever smiling Mary aunty and the brilliant cook Anna, Rajendra Pillai will remember you even if you visit the place once. A 100% and probably the only non-vegetarian restaurant in Ahmedabad, you can order anything from the yummylicious roast chicken to a pork vindaloo :) Not to forget the mutton cutlet that is just so perfectly crisp with all that makes you go on and on :) Open from 12:30 pm -3:30 pm and 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm, the Khanpur based La Bella may test your patience because getting there is a little tricky unless you know the area well. But the ride there surely pays off with not very spicy and not so bland food which tastes just right. You may not be able to ask for all the dishes on the menu during lunch hours but evening hours are recommended. But wait for the best part – the food at La Bella is cheaper than vegetarian dishes :) For Eg : A portion of mutton masala, chicken masala, mutton cutlet and 2 portions of rice just cost us 120 bucks and not a penny more :)
