A getaway driver called Baby always has his foot ready on the gas to hit the road, the only thing that actually drives him is his music and  I bet you can't make him move unless he has his favorite track on. While the name Baby driver is what attracted my feet to the theater, the movie truly depicts the life of a young boy unable to decide what is good for him and how to put an end to it.

The story starts with Baby i.e Miles acting as a getaway driver who is assisted by a man called Doc, who is the mastermind behind all the robberies going on in the city. Doc has a reputation of not having the same crew do two jobs; Baby makes sure he chases the cops on the street and get all of them safe to the den.

Though most of the story revolves around the bank robberies and all the action scenes getting your adrenaline all thrilled up, what one would like the most is the amazing music tracks soothing and pumping up each scene to deliver more.

Everyone says that the crime world is dark and one really can't get off easily, the movie does complete justice to the saying . The emotional advances and a different picture of loving and understanding human hidden behind the face of criminal are finely depicted.

As every teenage story ends, the plot and action worked all well, and all the efforts to make a simple story deliver strong messages were all up to the mark. Although the end didn’t pick up as expected from the title making it a light hearted movie for a one time watch. However, do not expect much action and if you are a fast and furious fan you would face monotony throughout the movie.

All in all, it is much of a teenage drama rather than an action thriller, full marks for the emotions though!!

3.5 out of 5 Shors for Baby Driver.
