Patolas, Ashavali brocade sarees & dupattas @ CRAFTROOTS!

Attributes: Exhibition

Who doesn’t love the rich, opulent and vibrant look of a saree; an article that’s nostalgic and the best emblem of our tradition and culture? I don’t know about you guys, but I could gaze at those flamboyant pieces for ages and the best place in my opinion to do that would be CRAFTROOTS without a sliver of doubt.

Be a part of a glorious and a once in a blue moon exhibition of the finest of Amdavadi patolas and Ashavali brocade sarees as well as dupattas at their enviable address only for two days on the 27th and 28th of January between 10 am to 8 pm and drool your heart out at these splendors!

CRAFTROOTS is a distinctive platform that showcases and brings into spotlight the best of craftsmanship and a diverse range of products in fashion, arts, home decor and craft from Gujarat. An initiative of Gramshree, CRAFTROOTS aims to empower artisans by connecting them to resources, tools and networks of power members and to preserve and share the craft traditions to develop a sustainable and scalable model for development. One of their main endeavors is also to raise the social status of women and develop their conditions holistically.

But at present there’s only one household in that village who has been trying hard to sustain this inimitable heritage, grow their cluster and weave their soul into these beauties. Which is why Craftroots is organizing this exhibition to help them as much as possible.

Aimed at ensuring that you fall in love with this dying art; these articles have been crafted by master artisans of ROYAL BROCADES and will nostalgically remind you of your roots and tradition. What are you waiting for? Set your eyes on these beauties and bask in their elegance, effervescence and flair and adorn your
