How to Spend a Day-Out in Bangalore Under Rs.500

Bangalore is quite known for it's stellar weather but, also for being hyped as one of the most expensive cities in India. And we are set to break that norm but, giving you a way of how to spend a great weekend in the city with just 500 bucks.

- Watch the Sunrise at Sankey Tank

Bangalore has got a surfeit of lakes, and they are the main reason behind the excellent weather of the city. Start the day with the breathtaking view of sunrise here and fill yourself with positive energy.
Timings: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

- Breakfast at Veena Stores
Before the traffic hits the road, reach out to the all-famous 40 years old Veena Stores. Fill your tummy with the delicious south Indian breakfast and grab a cup of hot filter coffee as well.
Timings: 6.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Cost: Avg. 80 Rs. (per head)

- Take a Tour of the Lal Bagh Botanical Garden
This spacious garden has got the largest variety of exotic plants and flowers that you will ever come across in the city; which makes for the perfect place for a stroll post breakfast.
Timings: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cost: 20 Rs. (per head)

- Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace
The palace of the Mysore Tiger is a marvel of architecture. It is made up entirely of Teak wood that makes it quite an expensive property. Top it off with beautiful gardens and durbars; making it an epitome of attraction for visitors.
Timings: 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: 15 Rs. (per head)

- Lunch at MTR
Sight seeing can surely lead to appetite and to calm your pangs with some delicious local food, MTR is the place to be at, for a pocket-friendly meal.
Timings: 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m. (Lunch)
Cost: 150 Rs. (per head)

- Admire great artwork at Venkatappa Art Gallery
The building holds the artwork done by the famous artist K. Venkatappa and other artists across the country. Many people confuse it with Bangalore Museum as both buildings are next to each other.
Timings: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: 10 Rs. (per head)

- Complete your day at Food Street V.V Puram
Your day out isn’t complete if you haven't tried the tongue tempting delicacies at this place. Food Street V.V Puram is every foodie’s paradise for, you have a plethora of choices here and  would want to try a bit of everything.
Timings: 6 p.m. Onwards
Cost: Avg. 150 Rs. (per head)
