Let us turn the wheels backward and try to remember the board games (rather floor games we drew using chalk) like Tic-Tac-Toe Ludo, Snake-Ladder and various such versions of pretty much the same games? They were fun!
That’s exactly what made us spent hours checking out the innovative Channapatna-artwork used to create lifestyle accessories, kitchen accessories and home decor at VARNAM, Colours for your home

Channapatna is a rural district in Bangalore, where local artisans craft the most beautiful wooden accessories and toys that a person has ever laid eyes on. In terms of finesse, colour combinations and innovative patterns, these craftsmen and designers work in close knit to satiate trending, eco-friendly and thoughtful lifestyle accessories.

Let’s walk you through some of the really unique products we found, and highly recommend for you to indulge in. Have a look at their lamp shades and holders, various lighting options to revamp your space in an interesting blend of modern furniture and rural vintage accessories. Likewise, there are shelf decor dolls, wine bottle holders and corks made in intrinsic designs to adore your homes.
Also, check out the kitchen utensils and accessories laid out for you. Extremely cute pickle and jam jars, bowls and buckets, honey dippers and such other minute yet functional products to make cooking fun.

What we loved the most are these handcrafted board games with the same artwork used to craft players and characters on boards sewn and embroidered on cotton. Nostalgia couldn’t have justified our mood; these reminded us of our childhood where we drew the structures off chalk and played with stones or shells or even marbles (if you are a 80s or a 90s kid, you’ll know what we’re talking about). They’ve got Ludo, Snake-n-Ladder, Tic Tac Toe, Chaupad and other such quirky games. If you’re looking for things to do on Sundays or after getting high, this would be a really great past time.

Let us know what you liked the most, and what did you splurge on in the comments below. You know where to find the best of Food, Lifestyle and Events.
