Sitting on the rooftop against the candle light and watching the magnificent Qutab Minar with amazing Thai food waiting for you at the table, is nothing short of pure decadence. With stars and planes flying above you in the open sky, what else would you need to make your evening more memorable?
Thai High is the go to place for Thai food connoisseur and it lets you soak the pleasant vibes of Delhi's heritage through its lounge. One must try their Thai green curry, crispy chicken, yam phak Krob to truly appreciate the authenticity of this place. Our personal favourite was the orange mojito. You can also try their Koong Hom Pha which is the perfect blend of flavors. And if you’re in the mood for it, chicken in chilly sauce is a must! The dessert options are selective, but each one is a delight of it’s own. The bannofie pie was a sublime end to our meal. Food is always tastier when served with such welcome and the staff made sure that every customer was so carefully attended to. They make sure that the food is on your table on time and in the perfect quantity.
The ambiance starting is very tastefully done, from the wooden , winding stairwell to the expanse of the rooftop area. The minute you step in, there are these tiny little statutes standing right against the tangerine coloured walls with marigold flowers in their hands. The roof top seating is our personal favourite but you can also sit inside the restaurant and enjoy the food, if you prefer a more subtle, melancholic surrounding.
If you’re looking for a nice romantic dinner or a quiet lunch with a serene view, this is your place. The best part about it is that it’s not too steep on the pocket and makes for a nice little get away from the hustle and bustle of Delhi.
