Calling out all coffee lovers in the house! If coffee is BAE and you can’t get enough of your daily dose then the brand new Brewroom in SDA is a must try! Apart from the usual espresso, iced latte and Italian cappuccino, the Brewroom offers hand-crafted speciality coffees that range from Fine Turkish and dabara to Thai and French Press.
While some are intense with spicy nuances others boast of lingering aromas reminiscent of ripe berries. Can’t decide what to order? No worries! We sampled them for you!
Start with the Japanese cold drip coffee (A light roast brewed for 18 hours at a chilling -5 degrees and later blended with fresh almond milk) and then slowly graduate to the tantalizing Chemex.(A delicate a medium roast blend invented by a German Chemist). If you haven’t got your caffeine fix then ask for the Turkish coffee. The salted caramel mocha deserves a special mention for the well-executed sweet concoction. And for those who are still not satisfied, there’s always a Doppio! Try it for a silky smooth experience!
The décor is minimalistic and set against a European ambience making it a cozy affair. While we savoured our coffee, we ordered the Soufflé omlette (A fluffy omlette baked with cheeses and a generous sprinkling of chives) and the Veggie Delight Pizza sandwich which was a delectable continental delight! We also bit into the classic American grilled Burger and it lived up to our expectations. The portion sizes perfectly match the pricing and when it was time for dessert, we ran out space!
However, the service is painfully slow so go prepared! Though it took us a long time to be served, the coffee was worth the wait. Looking back at the Brewroom, as coffee lovers we couldn’t help but wonder-Where have you bean all this while?
