Shop Your Heart Out for Diwali at this Craft Bazaar!

Last few days to shop at the Tamil Nadu Craft Bazaar, an exhibition-cum-sale of exquisite handicraft products from the cultural hub of South India and you surely need to attend before it ends on 15th October!
 
With the festive and wedding season just around the corner, buyers across the city are actively scouting for the best of home decor, lifestyle, fashion, and textiles. The craft bazaar is here to offer an altogether delightful experience to shoppers in the city and to reacquaint the people of Indore with the existence of various traditional products including hand-woven saris, woolen carpets, bamboo and cane baskets, lamps and lighting, Madhubani and Tanjore paintings to even hand-made kitchenware, ethnic accessories, fashion jewelery, traditional trinkets and more, all under one roof.
 
A unique bazaar in the heart of the city, it is a great amalgamation of Indian culture by the highly-skilled artisans from Southern India and elsewhere who are here to showcase their vibrant, intricate and versatile products in the city. And what more, most sellers here are willing to enlighten the keen art connoisseurs about the process of their meticulously made products, at no extra costs!!
 
The major attractions of the Craft bazaar are wood carving and furniture from Saharanpur, imitation jewellery, traditional brass lamps and diyas, Channapatna toys, bronze icons from Maharashtra, terracotta jewelry from Kolkata as well as cane and bamboo artifacts. 
 
The enthralling collection of metal and terracotta jewelry, beautifully fashioned by expert craftsmen and available in hues of different colors, shapes and designs are simply a great work of art.
 
Some of the other artistic creations on display include stone and wooden carvings, leather ware, useful paper mache items and lamp shades. Apart from this, the bazaar also has an exclusive range of gorgeous textiles including Kancheepuram, Madurai Sungadi, Chettinad and Mangalagiri silk and cotton sarees and dress materials and magnificent artworks with exquisite paintings from Mysore, which are made of pure rosewood, without any artificial colors. 
 
The stalls at this bazaar have something to offer for everyone. With close to 40 stalls at the sprawling Basketball complex, the visitors will be spoilt for choices! The exhibition would conclude just ahead of Diwali. Rush!
