The Bohemian Collection of this Goa Store will Blow Thy Mind

Attributes: Unusual Travel Places in India, Must Visit Places

Located on the main road of Palolem, Bunti, a unique space displaying home and fashion accessories is a haven for all tourists. This shopping paradise is located inside a pretty hut where all kinds of goods that are hand-made, sustainable and up cycled are sold. Goa sees many tourists flocking every year, and most people love Goa because apart from being a holiday wormhole, it is also probably the best place to indulge in some guilt-free shopping. Bunti is situated in Palolem, a renowned beach in South Goa, and it showcases a variety of products adorning western style with an influence of Indian style techniques and textiles.

Up the happiness quotient at this pretty little store by looking at their lovely spread of apparels, jewellery and home accessories, all celebrating India’s rich tradition of handicrafts and modern day styles, thus creating a blend of cultural diversity. Bunti was started by Hannah and Ankey, a couple from England who had been visiting Goa regularly in the past and Hannah has her own store in England, still. Being already working with a lot of artisans from India, in January 2013 Bunti was opened to feature diverse collection of Indian handicrafts and accessories made by the talented local artisans.

Bunti offers a selection of bohemian clothing, jewellery and home furnishing, vintage fabrics and textiles, most of which are hand-picked from across India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The envious collection at the store will make it difficult for the customers to walk out empty-handed. They sell goods that have been up cycled, made by talented artists some featuring traditional hand block printing while some are hand spun handloom, they offer goods that you can treasure. Bunti is many things, but mostly it is a wonderful world where modernity and ethnicity meet.
