Vegan biscuits, muffins, sweet and savoury buns! Walking into Marz-O-Rin recently turned into a huge surprise for us when we discovered not just a few but an entire shelf full of vegan products. We’ve always been ardent fans of the cookies and other sweet treats available at this popular favourite place. So when they took a step towards veganism, we just had to try the products for ourselves. Read on to know more about this unexpected yet pleasant surprise…

Whoever said the choices for vegans are limited has now got to take a look at Marz-O-Rin’s shelf! We were spoilt for choice and how! You’ve got sugar-free vegan Shrewsberry and Chocolate biscuits in addition to Oatmeal and Flax biscuits. Having tried the Shrewsberry ones, we can assure you they’re totally yummy despite having no sugar! The macaroons at this place are a personal favourite and we couldn’t wait to try their vegan version. The options include Chocolate, Oat & Raisin, Almond and Coconut macaroons. We absolutely relished the oh-so-delectable Coconut ones! Perfectly cooked and sweetened, these macaroons literally melt in your mouth…

What also caught our fancy on the shelf were the Orange Chocolate Buns. A multigrain bun, the flavours of orange tickle your taste buds with just a hint of chocolate. No, the vegan range is not only for those with a sweet tooth. We absolutely recommend trying the Spicy Tofu and Spicy Corn vegan buns. With flavourful stuffing, these buns are a great savoury option to pick. That’s not all! Having saved the best for last, we’ve got to tell you about their vegan muffins. Available in blueberry, strawberry and carrot flavours, these muffins are a real treat for vegans and non-vegans as well!
