Location Info:

The entire trip has been customized to completely enjoy the wilderness-filled surrounding and a rail route hike to take you to the mighty Dudhsagar waterfalls. In order to spend maximum time at Dudhsagar without any inconvenience, a bus has been arranged from Pune to Goa and back.

The magnificent Dudhsagar Waterfall is perched in the high peaks of the Western Ghats and is a sight to behold especially in the monsoons when it is in full and furious flow. From a distance, the waterfall appears like streams of milk rushing down the mountainside. Measuring a mighty 600 m from head to foot, this waterfall on the Goa-Karnataka border, attracts a steady stream of visitors from the coast into the rugged Western Ghats. After pouring across the Deccan plateau, the headwaters of the Mandovi River form a foaming torrent that splits into three streams to cascade down a near-vertical cliff face into a deep green pool.

Words can scarcely describe the beauty of the Western Ghats which turn into paradise every monsoon and provide must-visit locations for any adventure enthusiast. One of them and the most famous is the Dudhsagar Waterfalls. With most of nature’s extravaganza covered in the day, you get a chance to enjoy a relaxing stay in Old Goa at the Heritage View Residency right in the middle of the town. What makes it even better is the walkable access to some of the most historical places like Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Viceroy’s Arch, etc. This trip would also offer delicious Goan cuisine during the overnight stay at GTDC’s Heritage view residency lodges.

Goa is not just limited to the beaches of Anjuna and Calangute, there is a whole lot to explore and this is one of those 'much awaited' trips that’ll give you the chance to do so…Pack your bags guys; the mountains are calling!
