Ice cream sees no season and needs no reason. It is something you can always have, something you can always count on. With the number of ice cream lounges opening in the city, the scope and medley of ice creams particularly have widened out of proportions. We have so much to choose from and too little a capacity to intake.
The latest in trend are the ‘live’ ice cream lounges giving you firsthand experience of the entire journey your final ice cream dish has to undertake. The ‘Tawa Icefries’ have a similar concept of treating their customers with live ice cream making on what they call their ‘tawa’. The cold tawa is literally used to fry your ice cream ingredients to give shape to brilliant ice cream products and doing justice to the lounge name- Tawa Icefries.
We tasted three ice creams out of their ingenious menu that had almost all kinds of ice creams you’d like to have.
Chocolate Ice cream:
Though the chocolate ice cream did not have anything new to offer, it perfectly lived up the expectations one can have from a well-made chocolate ice cream. It tasted like a perfect blend and watching it being made live was very much satisfying to our eyes.
Raj Bhog Ice cream:
This succulent delicacy tasted like it was overflowing with flavors. The peachy colored scoops, full of cream, along with chunks of sweet dried fruit gave a scrumptious chewy burst of delight. If you are someone who loves a complicated ice cream with loads of stuff, this one’s for you.
Charcoal Ice cream:
The last but not the least, we tasted their special product called the Charcoal Ice Cream. Black and brown ice cream with ample amount of chocolate was served in a cone that was crisply made of absolutely jet-black charcoal and tasted very much authentic. The ice cream is actually made out of activated charcoal, which is even thought to have detoxifying or cleansing benefits.
It’s an interesting as well as tasteful place to be, check it out, you guys?
